Hardware
The reference appliance is a one-time hardware purchase, separate from the annual software subscription. You may also bring your own hardware; we will install on any machine that meets the spec.

All hardware figures are indicative and subject to component availability, exchange rates, and final configuration. We will provide a fixed-price quotation against a specific BOM at proposal stage.
Physical-appliance support on a small island has unavoidable logistics. Our standard SLA covers: 4-hour Tier-1 remote diagnosis on Cayman business hours, replacement parts shipped via expedited freight (target arrival 3–5 working days for routine components, 7–10 working days for GPUs and motherboards subject to courier availability and customs clearance), and a hot-spare appliance retained on-island under the Gold SLA tier for next-business-day swap. Hardware end-of-life follows NIST SP 800-88 cryptographic-erasure procedures: drives are sanitised in place, certificates of destruction are issued to Customer, and no media leaves the Customer's premises.
Procurement guidance
Direct procurement permitted under the Procurement Regulations (2022 Revision). Suitable for individual licences and Community-edition evaluation engagements.
Chief Officer approval pathway under the Procurement Regulations. Departmental Pilots are scoped to fit comfortably here, on the standard direct-award track for unsolicited vendor proposals.
Entity Procurement Committee (EPC) review with documented business case. Most single-department Enterprise deployments sit in this band; we provide a pre-completed business case template.
Public Procurement Committee (PPC) review, with mandatory Local Industry Impact Statement. We respond to RFPs through Bonfire (cayman.bonfirehub.com) and provide every required artefact including market-research evidence, business case, value-for-money analysis, and pre-drafted LIIS.
Cabinet approval required, following Public Sector Investment Committee recommendation. We have not pursued this band to date; our procurement collateral scales to it on request.
Government procurement convention is CI$ (Cayman Islands dollar). Software pricing is quoted in KYD (the same currency, ISO code). Reference appliance hardware is quoted in USD ex-shipping and ex-duty; FX and import duty are handled at quotation stage.
